There were two teams this year.. The first team, Tom & Jocelyn Logan, Evelyn Davis, Rev. Suzanne Vargo, Michelle Heinemann, Joyce Heath and Jim Nussbaumer, was there from Sept 29th thru Oct 20th. The Second team, Tom & Jocelyn Logan, Evelyn Davis, Jim Nussbaumer, Carol Ellis, Michael Kroeger, Dr. Harold Riley III and Barbara Riley, was there from Oct 20th thru Nov 10th.

Jim Nussbaumer, Loveland, Colorado was a member of both
teams. He only planned to be there for the first team, but extended his stay to help
both teams.
Evelyn Davis returned for her second trip to Malawi
with Marion Medical Mission. She installed wells like a veteran.
Rev. Suzanne Vargo, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Decatur, Illinois, preached, baptized numerous people and installed shallow wells.
Joyce Heath, Decatur, Illinois worked in the schools, and assisted Jodie McGill with AIDS training.
Michelle Heinemann, a student and veterinary technician from Savoy, Illinois, was on her first trip outside the USA but adapted well and put in lots of wells.
Jocelyn Logan, Marion, Illinois, worked with the schools, planned the celebrations, coordinated the work of our mission team, kept the accounting and bookkeeping, as well drove a truck installing wells.
Tom Logan headed for Tanzania and spent all of his time in the northern regions!!

Jim Nussbaumer, Evelyn Davis, Tom Logan and Jocelyn Logan stayed over for the second team as well.
Dr. Harold Riley III, retired neurologist, Lynchburg, Virginia, installed shallow wells for the second year in a row. In two previous trips to Malawi, Dr. Riley served in the Embangweni Hospital.
Barbara Riley, worked at the School for the Hard of Hearing.
Carol Ellis, Champaign, Illinois, on her second trip with MMM, installed shallow wells.
Michael Kroeger, Moline, Illinois, spent his time in the north with Tom installing shallow wells.

This year the work went very well and amazingly quickly since we had the use of 5 and sometimes 6 vehicles. We were grateful that there were no serious accidents this year. Everywhere we went, the people were surprised and pleased to see how well Tom Logan had recovered from his accident last year.
