Working Hand-In-Hand with God's People

“So that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part  suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”
1 Corinthians 12:25-26

Statement of Faith:

Why I work with MMM:

“MMM is a faith-based organization, working in partnership with the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Zambia. It reaches the neediest people in the rural villages of Zambia, providing them with safe drinking water with the love of Jesus Christ. MMM has love and care for its workers.”

Community Involvement & Personal Achievements as a Field Officer:

Through his work, Mr. Mhango has been very involved with his community. While employed by USAIDS as Orphans and Vulnerable Children Program Manager, he worked with 7 communities to facilitate the transformation of 1200 OVC and 120 care givers.

Working with MMM, Mr. Mhango has successfully reached 264 communities in Lundazi, Zambia and installed 264 wells providing protected water to almost 52,800 beneficiaries. He has been managing 7 Zones with 70 Zone Management Team (ZMT) members.

What is the impact of the Shallow Well Program?
Women walk shorter distances to where they can draw water.
Waterborne diseases that were endemic in some areas have been tremendously reduced.
The program has reached the neediest with safe drinking water.
People have witnessed the love of God through the program.
What is the Future of the Shallow Well Program and why is your support so important?

“Shallow wells should be extended in other districts in Zambia where people need safe drinking water. More shallow wells are needed to reach the many people in need who are still drinking from contaminated sources.”

Future needs include:
Yearly courses for village team members to ensure they efficiently carry out their activities, such as repairing and maintaining the wells in their area..
Yearly surveys to verify the functionality of the wells.
Refresher courses for FOs in community development.
Continue raising funds for new wells and capacity building.

How you can help:

Adopt a Field Officer: $10,000/year (this includes salary, fuel, food & lodging while working in the rural areas)
Pray for the Field Officers and the Shallow Well Program.
Tell others about MMM and its programs.

Mr. Mhango has already been 'adopted' but other field officers are still available.
