We were better prepared to store, handle and filter the fuel so we did not have the vehicle damage from bad fuel we had last year. The biggest change this year was that we began using a new electronic data collection system, based on hand-held Android devices with software developed by Hayden Boyd. We were very pleased with the minimal problems encountered with it and it really will reduce the workload on the accountants tabulating the results and paying the builders as a result. It also gives us a wealth of data we can use to make more improvements in our ongoing programs.
The best understanding of the impact of the trip can be found in first hand accounts from some of the team members.
